Safe Kids China and FedEx will hold an event on World Day of Remembrance at a resident shopping center in Shanghai. The event with the theme “Slow Down for Kids” calls the public special attention to child pedestrians.  Officials from Shanghai Police administration, Shanghai Disease Prevention and Control Center, and the community will participate. Over 200 children will join too.

Safe Kids China Activity

Safe Kids China set November as a month for road safety for children.  The promotion was through social media and in 5 new driver health check centers of Shanghai.  The themes are “Slow Down for Kids” and “To be a responsible driver.” Over hundreds of new drivers at the health check center signed for supporting “Slow Down for Kids”.

On Nov 20, Safe Kids China will hand in with FedEx to hold an event on World Day of Remembrance at a resident shopping center in Shanghai. The event with the theme “Slow Down for Kids” calls the public special attention to child pedestrians.  Officials from Shanghai Police administration, Shanghai Disease Prevention and Control Center, and the community will participate. Over 200 children will join too.

Child road injury is a leading killer of children aged from 1 to 14, with around 20 dying  in road crashes each day.
